TRISH
Trish has been pet sitting part time for over 17 years, and beginning January 2004 has committed herself to pet sitting full time. She is a veterinary nurse with 25 years experience working at Heritage Veterinary Hospital in Santa Rosa. Most of her current pet sitting clients have been her veterinary clients for as long as 25 years and they have been delighted to entrust to her their pets care in their homes.
Rabbits
Rabbits are now the 3rd most popular mammalian house pet. Rabbits have unique dietary and handling requirements that many people are not aware of. Trish's expertise in rabbit care, both in husbandry and in veterinary medicine, is a great asset to rabbit owners.
Parrots
All of us parrots owners know that owning a parrot is vastly different from owning a cat or dog. Bird psychology is uniquely different, and training and handling have their own unique characteristics. Additionally, each bird and parrot species have their own individual requirements and personalities. Trish's ability to identify illness, disease and assess degrees of distress and temperment in addition to understanding proper handling and feeding needs equips her to provide to her clients superior parrot care services.
Canine behavioral consulting
Trish refers most clients to trainers and behaviorists who are experts and are committed to fhe field full time. However, when these sessions are unsuccessful, she will work with dogs and owners who are committed and willing to spend the time needed to correct the undesirable behavior. |
